Chemical Risk Assessment (CRA) Library
The standard Chemical Risk Assessment Form and Chemical Risk Assessment Form with Guidance can be in the "forms" section. A safety data sheet (SDS) should be provided with each new chemical, which will allow you to complete the Chemical Risk Assessment form. An SDS does not count as a CRA form.
This form is used throughout the Faculty and should be used for any chemical. If only a few chemials are used, these can be included within your general risk assesment form instead. However, consideration of any heat, reaction, gas, by products etc. will need to be considered, the Faculty CRA form considered these and is therefore recommended.
Any quieries please contact the School Safety Advisor.
