- MyView: MyView is an employee self-service portal that links into the University's People/Payroll systems, so changes made in MyView go directly into staff’s record. Staff can manage and view various aspects on MyView relating to their employment such as:
For managers, the following MyView links maybe useful:
- Employee Change Requests (ECR): The ECR system helps support managers with the submission of various employee lifecycle changes including contract extensions, changes to funding, or adjustments to working hours. The detailed guides and videos can aid managers in various stages of an ECR request.
- Fixed term contracts: Guidance can be found for managers to understand the various stages they will encounter towards the end of a staff’s fixed term contract. They can find in-depth information on consultation meetings, BAM notifications and eligibility for Extended Project Posts (EPP).
- Managing Data: It’s important for managers to regularly check and review their staff lists in Power BI to make sure team data is correctly recorded in terms of their pay and employment status at the University. Regularly reviewing this data means that we can:
- identify any discrepancies early
- comply with employment policies
- accurately process payroll.
