Honorary appointments
These appointments allow distinguished academics from other institutions to collaborate with University staff, or recognise an ongoing association with one of our own retiring academics.
The individual must have appropriate achievements and make a significant contribution to the University’s work.
Appointees will be given a staff ID card and have membership in a School, but they are not employees and usually receive no remuneration (except travel expenses). Appointments are usually made for three years in the first instance.
