Recruitment agencies

The University has preferred recruitment agencies, who can offer qualified candidates at pre-agreed rates:

• Agencies for temporary and fixed-term posts 
• Agencies for permanent posts
• Diversify your workforce - Veteran Recruitment 

Agency rates are usually 25-30% above standard pay rates, as they also include NI contributions, payment for annual leave entitlement, pension and agency fee.

Usually agency workers will be employed with us no longer than 12 weeks. If they continue after this time, both their salary and annual leave must be in line with other colleagues and the University terms and conditions.

A valid purchase order is needed prior to the agency worker arriving on site – see our financial procedures.

Managers working with our preferred recruitment agencies will receive quarterly surveys, to ensure their service is meeting your needs. If you have a pressing issue with an agency, contact the Talent Aquisition Team.
