Introducing the Employee Change Requests Hub
The Employee Change Requests Hub (ECR) is the new and improved way to manage employee change requests across the University, replacing the previous Post Contract Management (PCM) form.
How the Hub Works
The ECR Hub is now the go-to platform for submitting employee change requests, such as contract extensions, changes to funding, or adjustments to working hours. This streamlined process ensures requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
Approvers will receive notifications via Teams and email to take action on submitted requests. Shared inboxes will receive email notifications only, ensuring that all relevant parties stay informed and up to date.
Getting Access
To gain access to the ECR Hub, simply raise a ticket with IT Services., and they will assist you in getting started.
The ECR Hub is designed to make managing employee changes simpler, faster, and more transparent—ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved.
If your request relates to any of the following, please do not use the ECR system:
- IT Access Extension
- Honorary roles and Unpaid Honorary Extension
- Visitors
- Create a vacancy
- Flexible Working (Please note - if the approval results in a change in hours then this needs to be requested via ECR)
- Changes in Line Manager

- Smart Form Features: Mandatory fields and drop-down options ensure your submission is complete and accurate.
- Streamlined Requests: Some role information is pre-populated, making it easier to submit multiple changes for the same individual.
- Real-Time Tracking: Monitor the progress of your request at every step.
- Access to Recent Requests: View details of recently completed requests for greater transparency.
- Targeted Notifications: Relevant approvers receive notifications to take timely action.
