There are a range of coffee shops, cafés and restaurants located within various buildings across campus. If you sign up for Unicafé Discount with your Staff ID Card, you can save 10% on your purchases at all Unicafé locations (excluding The Market at the University of Manchester and Benugo).
Christie’s, in the old Science Library of Owens College, is a hidden gem. The relaxing lounge area is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink with friends and colleagues. Our cultural institutions Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Museum each have a café, offering a range of freshly prepared food options all made in house using local, seasonal ingredients where possible.
On University Green, you'll find numerous exciting food & drink locations such as Navarro Lounge, Five Guys, Brewdog, Bold Street Coffee and Pret. Every Tuesday during term time you can explore a pop up market on Bridgeford Street, 11:30-2:30. With a curated mix of artisans offering food, drink and much more.
