Workforce Planning and Talent team
Our team provide tools, guidance and expertise on strategic workforce planning across the University.
Workforce planning involves analysing our current workforce, determining future workforce needs, identifying the gap between the present and the future, and implementing solutions. This will help us get the right number of people with the right skills employed in the right place at the right time. There are many advantages to workforce planning:
- Clearer development opportunities
- More robust talent pipeline and succession planning
- Improved resilience and flexibility
- Reduced hiring costs
- Reduced turnover
