Implementation
The Implementation stage follows immediately after the Project Initiation Document has been approved in line with the agreed project start date.
The objectives of this stage are to:
• Put the project plan into operation
• Achieve tangible benefits
• Ensure that any unforeseen risks or issues that might arise during this stage are resolved
• Ensure transparency with regard to finances
The main output within this stage will be the completion of Status Reports as defined in the approved Project Initiation Document. The status reports will also include updated information recorded in the DARIAD log, highlighting any risks or issues requiring escalation.
Once all actions have been completed the project can progress to the Review and Close stage.
