'I wanted validation of what I was already doing'.
'I was really interested in the skills of managing a team. I wanted to have a formal course on my CV'.
Praise for the Programme
‘It was an absolutely amazing experience and I thoroughly enjoyed and learned a lot from the course’.
‘I think the skills taught are relevant and very important when working with people’.
‘Online [delivery] worked really well - I'd recommend to others, it made working in workbooks and conversations simultaneously easy, and took less time from a day’.
Programme Audience
This programme is aimed specifically at research staff on short term contracts (Post Doctoral Research Assistants, Associates, Research Fellows) wishing to develop their people management skills at university, or wishing to prepare for a career in management outside of the university.
Colleagues on this programme do not need to have a current line management role but will be aspiring to one either inside or outside the university, or wishing to develop line management knowledge for future grant applications.
