Launch Event for Mentors and Mentees
These launch events will provide an overview of the programme. We will cover expectations of your role, either as a mentor or a mentee, how to get the most from your mentoring relationship, and the support that is available to you on the programme.

Mentor Skills Workshop
This workshop is to support colleagues who are both new or experienced mentors to develop or refresh their skills. In this session we will explore mentoring in this context, look at different styles of mentoring and the importance of a non-directive approach, starting and ending a mentoring relationship, questioning techniques and implications for virtual mentoring relationships.

Mentee Career Health Checks
This session for mentees is an opportunity to explore your own current career thinking and how to progress your own career development. Using a range of tools and techniques we will help you to gain insight into where you are now, where you would like to be and how you can get there, We will also share the resources available to you at Manchester to help you to make things happen.

Celebration & Close Event
This event is for mentors and mentees to bring the programme to a close, and celebrate achievements from the programme. In this session we will hear real experiences from a mentor and mentee, consider personal growth and development gained, and look forward to opportunities for the next years programme.
