Common Ground Collective at 'A Sustainable Future for Manchester'
30 Apr 2013
On Tuesday, 30 April (7.45pm) at Manchester Museum.
Common Ground Collective is a newly formed artist group, which emerged from a previous allotment-based residency, 'Environmental Hubs', in 2011.
Taking up their first group residency in Rogue Project Space in October 2012, they continued to develop their shared interest in looking into more sustainable approaches to practice.
The group hopes to develop new ideas and methodologies of working as a collective. Their common interest - environment and collaboration. They are: Elizabeth Wewiora, Tasha Whittle, Tracey Eastham, Simon Jones, Claire Tindale and Kai-Oi Jay Yung.
A selection of the members from Common Ground Collective will be taking part in Manchester Museum's 'A Sustainable Future for Manchester' event on 30 April at 7.45pm to share the findings of their first residency together and our views on sustainability as creative practitioners.
