Cultural awareness training event for staff

AISA Training 2013: 'Improving the international student experience through increased cultural sensitivity'
AISA (Association of International Student Advisers) is organising a training event, which will be of particular interest to staff who work with international students or in student support, although any member of staff is welcome to attend.
This session, led by the International Society's Training Officer, will provide a lively and interactive way to connect with international students outside of the regular work environment: sharing experiences and improving intercultural communication.
The session will also provide the opportunity to learn about the International Society's work and new projects like RocketWorld, which aim to connect international students and the local community.
Staff members would pay the reduced fee for UKCISA members of £50 for the day and anyone wishing to book on the course needs to complete:
