Would you like to help out?
You can help ScienceGrrl in three ways:
- Help run the soft electronics (1-2.30pm) and mathematical magic workshops (3-4pm) at MOSI.
- Turn up in your work clothes with a gadget or tool you use for work, and be available to chat to visitors - we'll give you a badge that says so!
- Turn up in your work clothes as in 2) but also be willing to jump on a soapbox in the main foyer and give a five-minute talk about what you do for a living.
If you can help with 1, 2 or 3 (or all of them), please e-mail:
For 2 and 3 you can come down for just a couple of hours if you can't make the whole afternoon.
Could you help to promote the events?
Please spread the word about our afternoon events, particularly to people with children who may be interested, and encourage any undergraduate science students you know to come along to the networking event.
Below are a couple of one-line invitations for you to cut and paste into e-mail or facebook. They will need shortening for Twitter!
