Staff Survey 2013

21 Feb 2013

Find out which charities will receive donations for each completed survey

I'm not stressed

The votes have been counted and we can now reveal the charities which will be receiving the £1 donations the University will be making for each Staff Survey completed and submitted.

More than 818 votes were cast by you, and the charities which received the most votes in each category are:

  • The Christie – local charity
  • Cancer Research UK – national charity
  • Water Aid – international charity

Professor Martin Humphries, who is heading up the Staff Survey Steering Group said: “The Staff Survey is all about listening to the views of our staff, so we felt it would be a great idea to get people involved through this vote.

“I’m delighted that so many of you took part and that the donations we make will be going to such worthwhile charities – chosen by you.”

You can see the full results of the vote at:

The Staff Survey 2013 will take place between 11 March and 19 April 2013 and around 9,600 staff will be asked to take part.

It’s being administered by an external company, Capita, so you can be confident that your responses will be treated with total anonymity and confidentiality.

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete and at the end, you’ll be asked which of the three charities you want your £1 donation to go to.

You’ll also be asked if you want to enter into a prize draw to win an iPad – one iPad will be given away each week the survey is live. The winner will be picked each week at random by Capita.
