Graphene event fully booked
22 Feb 2013
All tickets for the staff event about wonder material graphene on 26 February have now been allocated.
With work about to start on the £61 million National Graphene Institute (NGI) here on campus, and with the one-atom material never far from the headlines, Nobel Laureate Professor Kostya Novoselov, President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell and a number of active researchers will give details of the latest developments.
You will also hear about the NGI facility itself, the commercialisation opportunities, as well as details of the University Graphene Strategy.
It will also be an opportunity to hear a number of important announcements about future graphene activity across the University.
It's hoped the event will also encourage greater inter-disciplinary research across the University.
If you have registered you do not need to bring any tickets with you - the registration is enough. Please do not attend if you have not registered.
