The 2012/13 pay offer of 1% uplift to each pay point across the single spine is being implemented.
At the national negotiating level, Unison have settled this year’s pay negotiations with the employers; UCU have reluctantly accepted the offer which GMB has ‘noted’ and Unite has ‘reluctantly noted’.
The University is advised by the national employers association (UCEA) that the 2012/13 pay round has concluded as far as it is possible to do so, and will pay the consolidated increase of 1% on each spine point.

Staff will receive the award in their December salary and their arrears in January.
