IT Service Desk – service impact

During the week 17-21 December the IT Service Desk will be physically relocating across campus, during which time this service may be impacted.

The week 17-21 December has been carefully chosen to impact service as little as possible, with this being the quietest time of year for the Service Desk (in terms of call volume).

Telephone calls and electronic submissions

You will still be able to telephone the Service Desk and raise web submissions during this period, however you may experience a short delay in response time.

Walk-up Service Desks and Out of Hours Service Desk

The Service Desks in the Main and Joule Libraries, as well as the Out of Hours telephone service (the latter covering evenings, weekends and all of the Christmas holiday period) will remain unaffected throughout.

We appreciate your patience during this time. The IT Service Desk will resume full normal service from 2 January 2013.
