Irish President to lecture on 'Manchester and its Irish Connections'

If you would like to attend President Michael D Higgins' lecture on 22 November, please apply for a ticket as soon as possible.
His Excellency, the President of Ireland, President Michael D Higgins, is visiting the University on the afternoon of Thursday 22 November as part of his programme of visits to the North West.
President Higgins will give a lecture entitled 'Manchester and its Irish Connections'.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception, with music from Ivernia, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, led by Sinead Hayes.
The event will take place in the Whitworth Hall, Whitworth Building.

5.15-5.45pm | Drinks reception with music by Ivernia |
