Fresh fruit and veg stall returns to Fallowfield Campus

On Wednesday 7 November (1-4pm) between Source Cafe and Fallowfield Campus reception.

Two weeks ago, Fallowfield campus had its first ever fruit and veg stall to help promote local and seasonal fruit and veg.

Noones, the veg supplier who supplies some of the fruit and veg to our catered halls (the rest coming from Manchester Veg People, a cooperative that the University is part of) ran the stall. They said it was a tremendous success and that they were looking forward to arranging more stalls.

There were many positive comments about the stall and an incredible amount of interest from students and staff who hailed it as a tremendous success.

Because of this, Residential Services & FoodInResidence will be bringing back the fresh fruit and veg stall for staff and students on Wednesday 7 November (1pm-4pm).

The veg stall will be set up outside between Source Café and Fallowfield Campus reception.
