Wake up your wardrobe for charity at the SWISH clothes swap

If you're tired of seeing the same clothes hanging around in your wardrobe, bring them along to the next “SWISH” clothes-swapping event in the Rutherford Building and help to raise money and much-needed clothing donations for local charities.
The event – which takes place every six months and is organised by colleagues from the Directorate for the Student Experience (DSE) – is open to all University colleagues. Do pop along in your lunch hour.
The idea is simple: you bring in good quality items of clothing that you are willing to swap and pay an admission fee (£2 if you bring donations, £3 if you don’t), which goes straight to charity. Then you can rifle through the donations to find a fabulous item of clothing which is new to you.
All items of clothing (including baby/children's clothes) and accessories can be brought along - and more men's clothing would be especially welcome.
Any left-over clothes and entrance fees are donated to two fantastic local charities:
