Jodrell Bank dishes up the best budget grub
10 Oct 2012
The Planet Pavilion Cafe at Jodrell Bank has been named by The Guardian as one of Cheshire's 10 best budget restaurants.
The Pavilion was featured in an article marking the Cheshire Food Festival (28-30 September 2012). Writer Tony Naylor commended the food as "good, varied stuff" and added that the looming presence of the radio telescopes made him feel that he was "eating on the set of a Cold War spy drama".
The cafe is open from 10am to 4.30pm and has just published its enticing Autumn Menu. Chef/owner Peter Booth (The Modern Caterer) also runs cafes at the Whitworth Art Gallery and Gabriel's Grocery Store, Chorlton.
