Professional development for line managers

The ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management aims to give practicing or potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role.
The qualification does this by developing basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.
The ILM level 3 award in first line management runs over 7 sessions and consists of the following:
- Induction and Problem Solving
- Making Decisions
- Organising and Delegating
- Managing Performance
- Managing Communications
- Managing Diversity and Managing Health and Safety (UOM content)
- Additional content- Team Challenge Event
Please note that attendance on these sessions may not be required if participants have recently undergone similar training e.g. MS9 Training in Equality and Diversity.
