Blackboard and Start of Year 2012

All Bb9 courses are visible to students on Monday 10 September 2012.

Until that date, your 2012/2013 courses can be found on My Manchester under the Future tab in the My Courses portlet. Ensure your Bb9 space has appropriate content for the start of year.

Instructions on how to roll forward your Bb9 2011/2012 course to the 2012/2013 course is available in the Knowledge Base.

  • The activation process
  • Key dates and ensuring Bb9 courses are available to students
  • Where you can access your course
  • Use of Organisations in Bb9 to delivery content and to support communications and collaboration with groups of students beyond courses

Please note Blackboard at risk periods are Sunday 2am to 5am, Easter holidays and the whole of July.

Also for 2012/2013 the Student view of My Manchester has significantly changed. Full details have been communicated via StaffNet News and the Knowledge Base. Please be aware your view of My Manchester is different to a student view.
