Upgrade of My Manchester student portal

Design work for the latest upgrade to the My Manchester student portal has been completed and work is now under way to prepare the site for launch.

The changes to My Manchester for the new academic year, which are driven by student feedback, are being led by the Student Communications and Marketing Team in the Directorate for the Student Experience, working with IT Services and the Division of Communications and Marketing, as well as an external design agency, Wonder Associates.

The new modern interface and iconography, combined with improved functionality, should make the site easier for students to navigate and encourage them to engage with and explore the available tools and features.

More information and guidance for staff on the student view of My Manchester will be issued once the new site launches. In the meantime, a second issue of the My Manchester Development Bulletin has been released to keep staff fully informed and up-to-date:
