Caution advised for Outlook 2013 previewers

Microsoft have recently announced a preview of Outlook 2013 and made this available to download in a beta form.

Please be aware that IT Services strongly advise you against connecting Outlook 2013 to your University mailbox (either via your University or personal computer) as there is a serious bug within the beta application which could wipe your entire mailbox.  This could cause a total loss of email and calendar data and recovery of this data may not be possible.

The current standard University email and calendar client is Outlook 2007/2010 (desktop) and Outlook Web App (OWA).
