Take advantage of the Touch VIP card offer – ends 30 June!
Buy or renew a Touch VIP Card for £12 instead of the usual £35 fee.
Following on from the success of last year’s Touch VIP Card offer, until 30 June, University staff can buy or renew their Touch VIP Card for £12 instead of the usual £35 fee, for a full 12 month membership. With a Touch Card you’ll be able to access over 100 unlimited offers at a range of bars, salons, spas, entertainment venues and days out across Manchester and the North West.
With many offers of 50% and unlimited two for one offers, a Touch membership can realistically save you over £20 with each use, so you will get your £12 back straight away! Simplyhealth and Costco
The Simplyhealth and Costco roadshows at Food on Campus outlets across campus were well attended and many staff joined the schemes.
Simplyhealth is offering staff special reduced rates on the Simply Cash Plan and Simply Dental Plan – affordable plans that can help you spread the cost of your healthcare. For those who didn’t have the opportunity to attend the roadshows, you can still go to the Simplyhealth page and follow the instructions for registering. If you join Simplyhealth in June you will receive a £10 John Lewis voucher.

New offer from De Vere Village Urban Resorts – Health & Fitness Hyde
Village Health & Fitness Hyde is having a free open week just for University staff.
Join this fantastic leisure club in Hyde on a discounted rate before Sunday 1 July and pay just £10 for your first month (plus some free goodies)!
A headline membership rate is usually £58 per month (£46 off peak) and includes a £40 joining fee, however with this offer staff will only need to pay £10 to get started followed by a monthly subscription of £47 peak or £37 off-peak 12-month contract (corporate rate).
Off-peak hours run from 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday, and access all weekend. The club is open 6.30am – 10.30pm Monday – Friday and 7.30am – 9pm on Saturday and Sunday
The Village Health & Fitness will arrange that as soon as staff start their membership they will go straight on to a corporate rate, once they provide documentation of their employment to the University (staff ID card plus print out of a recent payslip).
