The Manchester Graduate Internship Programme
15 Jun 2012
Find out how “MGIP” can help your staffing needs.
The University’s Manchester Graduate Internship programme, now entering its fifth year, is continuing to take an ever greater role in developing our graduates’ employability, responding to an increasing demand to offer more opportunities for recent graduates to remain in Manchester.
MGIP identifies short term, paid internships exclusively for graduates and offers a variety of roles from a large number of different Manchester based businesses including positions within the University itself.
Internships generally last between four to 12 months and positions are available now until January 2013, with many new opportunities being added each month.
The placements offer a number of key benefits to University colleagues by offering a flexible option for covering temporary positions such as maternity leave and provide the opportunity to draw on the knowledge, insights and ideas of individuals with first hand experience of our University. Full support will be provided for the recruitment process and all MGIP graduates are provided with career development support during their internship.
