New teaching applications portfolio

If you are involved in teaching activities, please read this very important information.
The portfolio of software applications for Teaching and Learning is changing due to the move to Microsoft Windows 7.

Following on from extensive consultation with colleagues across the university we have a definitive list of teaching applications for deployment to student desktop PCs during the summer.
For a complete list of the teaching applications within the Windows 7 Application Portfolio, see the online list of included applications.
Please note that any applications absent from the portfolio will NOT be available in student clusters from September 2012.
If the software you need for teaching is not on the portfolio list, please look to the foot of the online list of included applications and follow the instructions given in the ‘Changes and New Requirements’ section.
