Strategic Plan 2020 – final chance to comment
25 Apr 2012
Comments are invited on the University’s draft Strategic Plan by 2 May 2012.
As reported in the President’s Weekly Update on 29 March, the University published its Manchester 2020 Vision back in November 2011, which you can see at:
The vision document is about setting out where the University is aiming to get to. It includes both realistic targets and challenging ambitions – the key is how to achieve these ambitions. This is addressed in strategic plans.
The draft University-level Strategic Plan has been developed and it includes key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets. As it stands, it identifies a small number of high level KPIs and targets against which performance will be measured across the University.
The Plan is available for comment up to 2 May 2012 and, while individual comments are welcome by emailing Manchester2020@manchester.ac.uk, it would be more helpful if comments could be directed through Heads of School or Directorate.
You can see the invitation to comment and the Strategic Plan at:
Once the Plan has been finalised it will be made public. Further KPIs and targets will be included in the more detailed operational plans for each Core Goal and Enabling Strategy, and for each Faculty, School and Directorate.
