Green Week: 19-23 March

Sustainability engagement events for the Directorate for the Student Experience, University Catering, Conferencing and the Students' Union.
The University of Manchester and the Students' Union are organising a Green Week from 19 to 23 March. The week is for:
- Staff in the Directorate for the Student Experience, University Catering, Conferencing and the Students' Union;
- Students living in halls of residence and off campus.
Working with a variety of organisations, Residents' Associations and University departments, Green Week will engage students and staff in sustainability through themed days throughout the week.
The themes are listed below:
- Go Meat Free On Monday (and be in with the chance to win some free food hampers & food vouchers);
- Travel Light on Tuesday (and be in with the chance to win a bike or train tickets);
- Volunteer on Wednesday (and be in with the chance to win First Class Train tickets to London, Edinburgh/ Glasgow or gig tickets);
- Turn It Off on Thursday (and be in with the chance to win your very own reusable water bottle);
- Be Waste Free on Friday (and be in with the chance to win a Hug Mug and some great savings off hot drinks and soups).
