JRUL’s First Impressions wins Best in Class

Interactive Media Award for website that reveals how printing spread through Europe.
Funded by the MLA (Museums Libraries and Archives Council) and designed by Manchester based Reading Room, The John Rylands University Library’s First Impressions website has won IMA (Interactive Media Award) Best in Class 2011.
The website highlights the impact of the first 50 years of printing on social, economic, political and religious history that is still being felt today.
