Make a child eggstra happy this Easter
09 Mar 2012
... by donating Easter eggs, confectionery or money to the Wood Street Easter Egg Project 2012 by 22 March.
Once again, Wood Street Mission will be handing out chocolate eggs to children at Easter. Last year, the University collected more than 650 Easter eggs donated by members of staff, in addition to other Easter confectionery and financial gifts. The support from members of University staff has been tremendous throughout the year and we hope that this year’s Easter Project will be as successful as 2011's.
To avoid having Easter eggs left over after Easter, Wood Street ask that any Easter confectionery and/or donations reach them by no later than 23 March 2012. The Wood Street Mission van will collect them from Sackville Street on this date, so all eggs and other confectionery must be received by 22 March at the latest.
Financial contribution towards the Project are also welcome and will help to pay for the extra van collections that will needed.
If you wish to donate one or more Easter eggs or a financial gift, please contact the following to arrange collection:
