'Forecasting and presenting the weather' – Laura Tobin, Met Office/BBC

Lecture on Tuesday 7 February (6-7pm) in Lecture Room C9, Renold Building (North Campus).

Find out first hand from a BBC weather presenter and Met Office forecaster how weather forecasts are made and how the data get from the computer models to 'on air'.

The meeting will include insights into what it’s like to work at the BBC weather centre and also some funny stories from behind the scenes.

Make sure you come with lots of questions, as Laura will be asking a few of her own!
