2011/12 pay offer

The 2011/12 pay offer of £150 uplift to each pay point across the single spine is being implemented.
At the national negotiating level, the UCU and GMB trade unions have reluctantly accepted the offer from the employers; Unison has ‘noted’ the offer and Unite has confirmed its position of neither noting nor agreeing the offer.
Against this background, the University is advised by the national employers association (UCEA) that the 2011/12 pay round has concluded as far as it is possible to do so, and it is our intention to implement the consolidated increase of £150 on each spine point.

Staff will receive the award in their February salary and their arrears in March.
