Re-grading Policy and Procedure

Applies to all non-academic and non-research staff in grades 1-8.

University staff

The University is launching the Re-grading Policy and Procedure.

Applications can be made at any time in respect of changes that have taken place since this policy was first run during 2011.

If you wish to be considered under this policy, you should in the first instance speak to your line manager. To make an application, you should complete the HERA Role Outline form (appendix 1 of the policy) and then pass it to your line manager with a copy of your job description.

Applications will be considered by a HERA Role Analyst and outcomes submitted to the University’s HR sub-committee for approval that the policy has been applied correctly and consistently.

Any queries should be addressed in the first instance to your manager or local HR office.
