Chocolate Big Saturday
Discover the connections between the Museum’s collection and chocolate and the science behind chocolate. With object handling of Mayan stoneware and cocoa beans, chocolate tasting and craft workshops where you can make a Mayan chocolate box or a Willy Wonka to take home.
Most activities are free and drop-in. Some activities may need to be booked on the day and may cost up to £1.50. All ages

All that remains: reconstructing life and death in ancient Egypt and Nubia
Looking into research into the Royal Mummies of Egypt and the history of disease in Egypt and Nubia. With a practical session looking at how to study ancient skeletal remains and identify age, sex and whether a person suffered from a disease.
