Aspiring Freddie Flintoffs needed for staff cricket team
The staff cricket team are looking for new players of all abilities to build on their success from last year. The team play in the Co-Operative University Intramural league against student sides from the University’s cricket club and halls of residence. Matches are usually played at weekend but there will be the odd mid-week 20:20 match and nets at venues like Old Trafford Indoor Cricket Centre.

Free run with Parkrun
Run for free with parkrun on Saturday 4 June at 9am from the Lakeside Centre, Platt Fields Park. This 5k circuit is a great warm-up run for those taking part in any running events this year! Lucozade will be providing refreshments and there will also be cakes and coffee at the end.
