Introduction to HESA session
05 May 2011
On Tuesday 24 May, two colleagues from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) are visiting the University to give a presentation on “HESA and its Records”
The presentation will give a general overview of the work of HESA, including:
- Its role and remit, particularly it statutory customers
- Details of the main HESA returns, with particular emphasis on the Student Record
- Publication of HESA data, including in Performance Indicators, UNISTATS and league tables
The session will be of particular interest to Heads of School Administration with their overview of student, staff and finance data, but it will be of general interest to all staff who deal with the collection and management of data and/or staff who deal with published HESA data in the form of league tables etc. Therefore please publicise the session to all those in your School or Directorate who may be interested.
The session will take place from 10am to 12noon on Tuesday 24 May in the John Casken Lecture Theatre, Martin Harris Centre.
