Focus group with free lunch * Breakfast for only £1.99 * Annual survey results * Price increases * Graduation packages

 

Staff volunteers required for one hour – free lunch included!

We are looking for staff volunteers to take part in a focus group about general food trends and eating habits to help shape the future of catering on campus! In return for your time and opinions you will receive a free buffet style lunch. The group will take place on Wednesday 11 May and you will be asked to select your preferred start time during registration. Details about the venue will be communicated in a future email to the selected groups but all groups will be held on the Oxford Road campus.

Get a breakfast sandwich and hot drink for only £1.99 in EATS and Browsers, served until 11am. Offer includes a regular Breakfast tea or coffee (speciality coffee not included) and any two items from the hot breakfast menu on a bread roll or toast.

We have already started to implement some great changes based on some of your suggestions. We have developed an action plan focusing on the areas which you identified as being most important to you and where we received the lowest satisfaction scores.

Price increase notification

The cost of food and drink has increased considerably and it is down to factors that are out of our control, such as:

  • Rising oil prices
  • Energy costs
  • Increased VAT
  • Climate change
  • Rising cost of fertiliser
  • Change in eating habits

Regrettably this has meant we have had to review some of our prices. However, we still believe we offer great value for money compared to some of your high street favourites.
