The University of Manchester's very own period-instrument ensemble takes us back to the splendour of early eighteenth-century Naples with a performance of Pergolesi's most celebrated work, the Stabat Mater, coupled with instrumental music by his famous predecessor, Alessandro Scarlatti.

Hallé Youth Choir
The Hallé Youth Choir is a mixed-voice choir, founded in 2003, for singers aged 12-19 in and around Manchester. The Youth Choir offers young people from across the region the opportunity to sing stimulating repertoire to an extremely high standard.
Hallé Youth Orchestra
The Hallé Youth Orchestra is a symphony orchestra, which was founded in 2002 for talented young musicians across the North West of England who do not benefit from the musical opportunities provided by full-time specialist music education.
