One-day course for anybody with little or no nuclear energy knowledge

A new one-day course intended to give an essential overview of the nuclear energy for those with little or no previous knowledge of the sector.

This course will cover the UK nuclear industry history and present status, the concepts behind nuclear energy including details on nuclear fission and the nuclear fuel cycle, decommissioning in the UK and the management of radioactive waste, and the roles and responsibilities of different nuclear organisations.
