Whether it's discounts on Apple products, money off holiday cottages or information about family friendly policies - you'll find it all in one place, thanks to a brand new part of StaffNet dedicated to staff benefits and discounts.

you'll find a whole host of information about benefits and discounts available exclusively to staff here at the University.  

Benefits

  • Family friendly benefits – information about childcare vouchers, leave for parents and carers and details about flexible working policies, to help you balance your home and work life.
      
  • Health, fitness and wellbeing - information about SPORT facilities on campus, the University's Wellbeing initiative and Counselling Service.
      
  • Training and career development - all the latest on courses and personal development from the Staff Training and Development Unit.
      
  • Travel - details about season ticket loans and alternative ways of travelling to work.

Discounts 

  • Because the University is such a large employer, we’ve been able to negotiate a range of discounts with local and national companies. Everything from money off Apple products and discounts on holiday cottages, to reduced prices at local bars, theatres and shops are now on offer.
      
  • More discounts are being negotiated every week and new offers will be put on the front page of StaffNet so keep your eyes peeled. While some offers are long term, others may only last a limited amount of time, so make sure you check StaffNet on a regular basis so that you don’t miss out.

The site has been put together following a review carried out by the Directorate of Human Resources, and the fantastic response from staff to an appeal to find out about possible benefits and discounts which staff can take advantage of.

Organising all of this is Vanessa Cowan from Human Resources who said: “Thanks to everyone who has suggested an offer, discount or benefit – the response was overwhelming. This is an ongoing project so if you hear of any new offers just get in touch with me and we’ll follow them up.”
