Confucius Institute Open Day

On Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April (12 noon-2pm) in University Place, Oxford Road

Find out about the Confucius Institute at The University of Manchester and all the courses and opportunities that are on offer. If you are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese or Chinese arts and crafts, you can sign up for a variety of different classes.

There will be demonstrations of  Calligraphy, Tai Chi and traditional Chinese Instruments as well as an exhibition of photographs from the 2010 Shanghai Expo photo competition.

If you have a talent in any area of Chinese arts and are interested in working for the Confucius Institute, we are looking for volunteers to go into schools and lead workshops with children (£20 per hour). If you are interested, please come along on Thursday or Friday during lunch and fill in an application.
