Mother’s Day treats at Cafe at the Rylands – 10% staff discount

Choc-tastic Easter Chick Surprise * Summer Graduation packages from Taste Manchester

Treat your mum this Mother’s Day weekend to afternoon tea at Cafe at the Rylands, located in the modern glass extension of the magnificent Victorian gothic John Rylands Library, Deansgate. Afternoon tea features a choice of delicious finger sandwiches, a selection of cakes and a regular tea or coffee of your choice, all for just £4.95 per person (+£1.55 per person to upgrade your tea/coffee to a glass of sparkling wine).

Alternatively you can sample some of the other delights on the extensive menu which focuses on the best seasonal produce from local suppliers. You are also entitled to 10% discount with your valid University staff card.

Bookings are not required so please feel free to drop in – we are open on:

  • Saturdays from 10am to 4.30pm
    and
  • Sundays from 12 noon to 4.30pm

Also why not take the opportunity to wander round the library and view some of the world’s finest collections of rare books and manuscripts?

Try our new recommended hot drink of the month at Cafe Eros in University Place. The Easter Chick Surprise is the ultimate treat for the sweetest tooth. With a combination of chocolate and caramel sauce, banana syrup and milk topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce served with mini eggs on the side!
