Jorum widgets - bringing learning and teaching resources direct to your desktop
16 Mar 2011
The Jorum team has been developing a set of free embeddable widgets which will allow you to view and find relevant learning and teaching resources, and receive updates when new resources are added to Jorum.
The widgets will also enable you to share and promote your own resources from the Univeristy – all directly from your own website/VLE, with minimal technical effort.
A widget builder will give users the option to select the type of widget they would like.
The widgets will include:
- Search Widget: Display a list of resources from a particular search criteria
- User Widget: Show off your resources! Display your most recently deposited resources on any webpage
- Subjects Widget: Gain access to resources from any of the Jorum subjects on your webpage
We have also built in many customisable features, such as colour; size and display settings, allowing you to completely change the look and functionality of your widget! Simply select which widget you would like, adapt the settings, and grab the code!
The widgets are supported by the Jorum team, and will be updated automatically, without the need for any upgrades as new features are developed.

Further details will be released in due course.
