Surveys for research staff
09 Mar 2011
Help to shape your career development
Research staff and postgraduate researchers are being urged to take part in two national surveys which the University is currently taking part in. These are:
- The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS)
- The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)
Both of these surveys gather anonymous data about working conditions, career aspirations and career development opportunities for research staff and postgraduate researchers, respectively.
The responses are vital in helping the University to understand what we are doing well and what we can do to improve the research experiences of postgraduate researchers and research staff.
The survey information from CROS 2009 was used to improve existing procedures and practices that support the personal and career development of our researchers.
CROS will run until 30 May and PRES runs until 17 May. Login credentials allowing access to the survey have been sent to postgraduate researchers.
