Publisher workshops: Seminars for researchers
15 Feb 2011
At the John Rylands University Library on 17 March and 8 April
JRUL has organised two publisher workshops to take place this semester:
- The first is with Emerald on Thursday 17 March at 2.30pm in the Seminar Room at the Main Library. Emerald is a prominent international publisher in the fields of business, society, public policy and education.
- The second workshop is with Springer on Friday 8 April. They are holding a full-day workshop, with lunch and refreshments provided. Springer is one of the world's leading STM publishers, annually publishing around 2,000 journal titles and 6,500 books. During the day, there will be a number of sessions led by individual editors.
These sessions are useful to new research staff. If you are a PhD supervisor, please let your students know about them.
Booking for both these sessions is open and available through the University Portal or the Library web site.
