Join the Bogle Stroll on foot or on two wheels

Celebrating the 50th year of the North West's oldest sponsored event
The 55 mile Bogle Stroll is the oldest sponsored event in the North West of England, in which tens of thousands of people have taken part over the years. The route takes the form of two loops around Manchester: the southern loop will take you down to Manchester Airport and Stockport before returning to the Students' Union for breakfast, and the northern loop will take you to Failsworth, Farnworth and Salford. 55 miles takes about 21 hours.
If the 55 mile Stroll seems too much for you, why not try the 26 mile Ramble or 12 mile Wander, taking in just part of the overall route, but no less of a daunting challenge! Or for those of you on two wheels, we also have the 78 mile Roll, which is three loops of the northern circuit.
Bogle will take place on 4 and 5 March 2011 and entry for staff is only £10, which includes all meals, regular checkpoints and all event logistics. Participants must raise £50 for their chosen charity before May.
