Information and advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the University's insurance brokers
The current situation in Egypt is clearly changing rapidly. Any staff or students in, or planning to visit, Egypt should monitor the advice given by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office:

The emergency service will provide advice to University staff and students currently in Egypt and, where necessary can assist in making travel arrangements.
The University’s travel insurance can be expected to meet claims for reasonable additional expenditure incurred in following Foreign and Commonwealth Office advice.
The University's insurance brokers (Marsh) have provided an information and advice sheet for travellers in Egypt during the current situation (as at 1 February 2011).
