Legal Advice Centre - free service for staff, students and members of the public

Now taking bookings for appointments in February and March

Please note that the Legal Advice Centre (LAC) has reopened and is currently taking enquiries for appointments to be held throughout February and March.

The LAC offers a free legal advice service to members of the public as well as staff and students of the University. Students of the School of Law volunteer to be trained to give a wide range of advice on legal matters in the strictest confidence under the supervision of local lawyers and professionally qualified teaching staff. Please note that we are unable to provide advice on any matter connected with the University.

We would ask for your patience as this is a very popular service and waiting lists are inevitable, although we may be able to accommodate urgent enquiries from time to time.
